The 2016 Solstice Soirée hosted by Sunlight Mountain Resort disc golf tournament was a successful and fun event for all. 96 players competed in the two round PDGA B-tier event on the gorgeous ski mountain near Glenwood Springs, CO. It was wet and muddy on Saturday with pretty constant rain. However no lightning stopped the tournament and there was still plenty of smiles on the players faces. Most of the scores improved on Sunday as it was a nice sunny day. The one and only junior competing, #58982 Meci Klein from Thornton, CO improved her score by 20 strokes on Sunday.
Five time World Champion #19150 Kathy Hardyman, from Colorado Springs, CO won the Pro Masters Women division. There was a tie breaker after the last round in the Pro Masters M...

Hello! We are a week away now and there’s a lot of things ready for you to have a lot of fun. The course is playing nicely and conditions aren’t as bad as they could be, considering it’s a ski mountain. The course map is coming. The layout is changed since the 2014 COLO State Championships, but is similar. It is a ski mountain and somewhat steep. So we can provide a ride up, to only those who really need it.
Sunlight has horses and cows on it’s land during the summer. So there are fences all over the course, which change every year. We are going to bungie cord together and mark crossing points for you players. But you will have to cross over fencing a few times throughout the course. It is a NON Barbed, smooth wire fence.
There are wild roses ...

Unfortunately, we have to cancel this Saturday's NC9HC#4. I will not be around to run it and there are 3 other events happening the same day, so I doubt we would have people come anyway. There is a PDGA C-Tier event in Cheyenne, Paul is having an Ace Race event at his course in Pine and also the Johnny Roberts Memorial Fundraiser tournament is all happening this Saturday.

Please don't worry about missing this event. I won't penalize anyone on points or anything like that and I will make our accounting of scores very fair for everyone in this series. Don't forgot about our last NC9HC#5, which will be 3 courses in Denver on Saturday, September 18. This is the day before our CDSA Award...

Announcing the CDSA (Colorado Disc Sports Association) Board Meeting. It's happening on Sunday January 31, 2010 at 2pm. It will be held at the BeauJo's Pizza in Denver at Yale and Colorado blvd. I will personally be buying pizza for everyone who shows up. We have a lot to discuss in an effort to make the CDSA a better and more efficient organization for everyone. There are some major changes that I'd like to implement in 2011 and I look forward to talking to you all about it throughout the season. But this year, 2010 we will be running the Thin Air Tour, actually keeping track of the points and doing business as normal. One of my big goals for this year is to go around the state a...
