I started playing DG almost a year ago. I really enjoy it, and wanted to learn more and improve. I surfed the web, watched instructional video on YouTube, but I am still just chuck'n plastic around a course. It would be nice if there was some form of beginners' program. Maybe there already is, but it certainly isn't evident to me. A beginners' program could be a standing monthly meetup with some experienced helpful players, or perhaps an adopt a noob program? I'd even be willing to pay a modest fee for lessons!
To grow and promote the sport in Colorado it seems like a program to welcome people and get them heading in the right direction would be beneficial. More players = more volunteers, tournament participants, course expansion, and revenue to local disc shops.
