CDSA Today

The CDSA is a non-profit organization that supports, enhances and promotes disc sports in Colorado. We run the Thin Air Tour Points series as well as the new NC9HC series for CDSA Members only, with cash prizes for everyone. The more members we have, the bigger prizes for everyone! We hope this new contemporary website will serve as the communication hub for all local clubs and everything disc throughout the state. In addition we run a Basket Donation Program to help provide baskets to needy disc golf courses throughout the state. We also donate money to both prize pools for the state championships tournament. Starting this year, we will also be running a Skins Tournament for CDSA Members only with cash prizes, on the same day as our Thin Air Tour Awards Party.

Disc golf in Colorado has grown dramatically since the CDSA was formed in 1992 and we are continually evolving along with the sport. Out new contemporary website will help serve as the communication hub for all things disc in Colorado. We are using Twitter to tweet about all disc events and also live event scoring. Also, we are sending out official press releases about every Thin Air Tour Event to all local news outlets near the tournament.

With the growth of local clubs throughout the state, we are working to be a more supportive, umbrella organization that can help resolve issues, help clubs get more exposure and members, as well as also help protect the clubs from any outside forces. In addition, we are going to try and act as the conduit between all of the local clubs and the Nation disc golf organization, the PDGA.
