As the last event on the 2012 Thin Air Tour, I have sent out CDSA press releases to the media outlets listed below for the 2012 Johnny Roberts Memorial disc golf tournament. I wanted to let everyone know that I sent our CDSA press releases for the 20120 Colorado State Disc Golf Championships on Monday. I emailed the list of media outlets below on Monday and the hard copy press release along with a CDSA brochure went out Tuesday morning. It took all week, but we finally have some media stories and exposure as a result of the press releases I sent. I am very happy that the CDSA can act as a conduit for the general public to ask about disc golf and any other frisbee sports and also an organization for the media to pay attention to. Every year it seems to be a scramble to get the final9 safari layout at the Badlands, so I thought I'd write it down for prosperity. Remember that these holes are usually in the long/very long pin positions, which makes it easier walking and better flow for this safari course.

I will try my best to post the points and scores as soon as I can after each event. However I hope you can understand that it might take a little while sometimes. 2010 is the inaugural year for the Northern Colorado 9 Hole Challenge Series, (NC9HC). This series of one day tournaments is FOR CDSA MEMBERS ONLY! We will be playing 3 different 9 hole courses on 5 different Saturdays and since they will be non-sanctioned tournaments, everyone will be playing for cash! All prizes will be 33% of membership fee's collected for each division. Players will be scored on a shots per 9 holes average.… Continue

Announcing the CDSA (Colorado Disc Sports Association) Board Meeting. It's happening on Sunday January 31, 2010 at 2pm. It will be held at the BeauJo's Pizza in Denver at Yale and Colorado blvd. I will personally be buying pizza for everyone who shows up. We have a lot to discuss in an effort to make the CDSA a better and more efficient organization for everyone.
